Starting Rate: $47,000-$65,000 Based upon skill and experience.

As an HR Generalist at Lakeside Book Company, you will enjoy a fast-paced environment and partner with our employees and leadership at to create positive outcomes for our employees and for our customers. If you have a passion for people and for books, we would love to hear from you!

This role plays an important part of the manufacturing process by attracting, engaging and onboarding employees and ensuring they have all the tools they need to succeed in their careers.

• Hire, on-board, orient and support new employees
• Promote and maintain an engaged, focused and high performing culture
• Support employees with effective employee relations, training, and benefits communications
• Support the business with compensation and change management strategies
• Provide instruction, coaching, and development to employees
• Partner with leadership to create positive business outcomes
• Ensure the safety of employees

• 5+ years of Human Resources experience or a relevant degree
• Proven track record for high volume recruiting
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
• Broad knowledge of employment law, recruiting strategies, EEO/AAP, safety and policy development and application preferred
• Strong communication skills with training experience preferred
• Strong computer/systems skills are required;
  Dayforce experience is a plus
