## Description

Chief Talent Officer General Summary/Purpose The Director of Talent is responsible for directing the human resource functions of the Bank, leading Human Resources practices that will ensure a high-performance sales and service culture. The Director of Talent is responsible for leading the functional areas of recruitment, performance management, and the HR team who provide benefit, payroll, and HR system management.
Key Duties and Responsibilities#1 Talent Recruitment and Retention Percentage of time: 33%
Ongoing oversight of recruiting, selection, and placement of the strongest talent for the Bank team, working closely with Team Leaders to develop strategies and policies that will attract, retain, and promote a diverse sales and service-driven workforce. Ensures every position has an accurate Position Description that reflects consistency across the organization and provides clarity on how performance success is defined by position in alignment with organizational goals.#2
Performance Management Percentage of time: 33%
Ongoing review and evaluation of performance management systems and processes. Provide direction for Team Leaders and teammates on the effective use of performance management tools, ensuring monthly and annual performance discussions (Grow-Prosper-Serve) are adopted across the company, documented, and support ongoing growth and development. Primary point of contact for support and escalation of HR related matters for all leaders and teammates, excluding Executive Leadership.#3
Leadership of the Human Resources Department Percentage of time: 34%
Leadership of the Human Resources team, providing supervision and direction for Human Resources staff, guides compensation, payroll, and benefits structure, learning and development strategies, matters relating to teammate safety and welfare, teammate communication, maintaining current knowledge and understanding of regulations, industry trends, current practices and applicable laws regarding human resources.## Qualifications Education, Training and Skills Required(Identify the minimum required to perform the duties and responsibilities.)
Limited training normally acquired through high school education Specialized education/training normally acquired through up to 18 months’ of higher education Education/training equivalent to an Associates’ Degree X Education/training equivalent to a Bachelors’ Degree Education/training equivalent to a Masters’ Degree Advanced education/training in a recognized field of specialization, e.g. CPA, MBA X Other (please specify) Human Resources leadership certifications
