Your Impact
As Regional HR Manager, you will be a key HR partner supporting labor relations, employee engagement, and workforce strategy across multiple U.S. sites, starting with Lafayette, IN. This role requires strong experience handling grievances, working with union leadership, and navigating complex labor environments.
Partnering with site leadership, you will strengthen union relationships, drive HR strategy, and influence cultural transformation in a fast‑paced, evolving workplace.
Responsibilities- Support and guide site leadership on union‑related HR functions, including labor relations, grievance resolution, and collaboration with union representatives.
- Advise and guide site leadership on navigating complex labor disputes and negotiations while ensuring compliance.
- Proactively build strong relationships with union representatives, leadership, and employees to foster collaboration.
- Oversee hiring, job transfers, separations, and workplace investigations, ensuring compliance with labor laws and policies.
- Coach managers on dispute resolution, performance management, and best practices in union environments.
- Lead workforce engagement efforts, improving site culture through retention strategies and development programs.
- Influence business decisions by balancing site leadership priorities with corporate HR policies and compliance standards.
- Drive long‑term cultural transformation, establishing stability and trust between leadership and the workforce.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of HR or relevant experience, with proven union relations expertise (including grievance resolution, labor relations, and collaboration with union leadership).
- Strong background in employee relations, workplace investigations, and dispute resolution.
- Ability to strategically influence site leadership while upholding corporate HR policies and labor agreements.
- Experience supporting multi‑site HR operations in industrial, manufacturing, or chemical environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software (Workday preferred).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to travel approximately 30% (primarily regional; potential for occasional international travel)
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. (Specific rate to be determined, but not limited to, geographic location, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data).
Pay Range: $102,900 - $171,500 per year
