The Senior HR Service Center Representative will provide excellent customer service to employees of the college regarding routine HR questions. Perform routine data entry including new hires, terminations, job changes, and personal data changes in the college HRIS system, Banner. Interpret and answer inquiries related to HR and maintain the centralized employee file system.
- Act as the first point of contact for queries from managers and staff across the college and provides a comprehensive administrative support service to the human resources team.
- Provides guidance and training to employees, supervisors, and administrative assistants on HR processes and procedures related to electronic personnel action forms (ePAFs) used to enter or correct data in the HR system.
- Ensure data accuracy and maintain a high level of data integrity in HR databases.
- Stays abreast of changes to Board Policy and Administrative Procedure. May make recommendations for policy changes based on trends identified by the HR Service Center.
- Support projects undertaken within the human resources department. Projects include annual open enrollment, annual performance process, etc.
- Deliver high quality and responsive HR Service. Research, investigate and triage customer questions if needed. Actively engage in the continuous improvement of all HR services.
- Accurately and timely completion of board agenda documents related to HR actions.
- Process complex data changes in the HR systems related to employee data.
- Enter worker’s compensation claims into database.
- Complete various requests from employees, such as Public Service Loan Forgiveness and employment verifications.
- Review and complete audit reports to ensure data integrity within the HR systems.
- Demonstrate attention to detail, professional attitude, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED with at least five (5) years of customer service experience.
- Associate’s Degree preferred.
- Previous Human Resources experience preferred.
- Generally, works in an office and campus environment.
