Hudson Automotive Group is now seeking a driven and experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our team!
This role primarily supports dealerships in Tennessee and ideal candidates should be located in the greater Nashville area

The HR Business Partner team is at the center of the HR function. HRBPs are connected and report to Regional Directors & the CHRO. Their role is to support and work closely with the RDs and Dealership GMs to understand their overall talent strategy, initiatives and/or challenges and then in partnership with the COEs (Benefits, L&D, Recruiting & Payroll), strategize and activate solutions that deliver high impact.

The HRBP supports the execution of HR programs, this will include performance management, conflict management, coaching, employee relations, pay plans, internal mobility, staff retention, talent acquisition, workforce planning, headcount and position management, talent and team development and compliance.

Essential Functions:
  • Supports and accountable for all HR related matters of singular region with multiple dealerships.
  • Works closely with RDs, GMs and CHRO to execute and implement HR-related initiatives such as talent/performance management, compensation/merit planning, employee development, succession planning, organization design & integration and any other employee related program.
  • Develops strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including COE partners.
  • Provides day-to-day HR support for employee population.
  • Helps to manage and resolve HR issues including, but not limited to, performance management, employee relations, coaching, development, pay plans/payroll, internal mobility, staff retention, talent acquisition, workforce planning, and compliance, working closely with CHRO and Legal as required.
  • Works to resolve employee and organizational issues in a proactive and positive manner by providing advice, coaching, and counseling to proactively create/maintain an inclusive, respectful, and safe work environment/culture.
  • Interprets and helps to implement HR policies, practices and procedures for managers, teams, and individual employees that further the mission, values, and strategic vision of the business.
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in HR or related client-focused role.
  • Experience with a wide range of HR, critical thinking, and business advisory skills.
  • Experience leading and developing direct reports a plus.
  • Collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence others into action and to think creatively about solutions.
  • Genuine curiosity and strong desire to continuously learn and grow and develop.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  • Strong in communicating with others and builds strong relationships with leaders and employees.
  • Good judgment and ability to balance the needs of the company and employees.
  • Exceptional organization and project management skills.
  • Some travel is required.
  • Prior managerial experience is required.
