About the JobVista Radio has an immediate opening for a full‑time HR Operations Coordinator, based on‑site in Kelowna, BC.
This role serves as the operational backbone of our Human Resources department, supporting the full employee lifecycle while maintaining our HR systems, documentation, employee records, and administrative processes.
What you’ll do- Coordinate HR administrative processes throughout the employee lifecycle, including hires, promotions, transfers, compensation changes, leaves of absence, and terminations
- Prepare employment agreements, offer letters, employment verification letters, change letters, and other employment‑related documentation
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately and on time
- Maintain HR administrative calendars, deadlines, and follow‑up activities
- Administer and maintain employee information within the HRIS, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
- Process employee transactions in the HRIS, including organizational changes, reporting relationships, compensation updates, and personal information changes
- Generate routine and ad‑hoc HR reports to support operational and business needs
- Administer employee benefit and RRSP enrollments, changes, and terminations
- Coordinate disability, leave of absence, and related administrative documentation
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, HR policies, employment documentation, and HR processes
- Maintain employee personnel files in accordance with legislative requirements and company standards
- Create, update, and maintain HR policies, procedures, forms, templates, and departmental documentation
- Maintain document organization and version control within SharePoint and other document management systems
- Support internal and external reporting, audits, and compliance initiatives
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, documentation, and workflows through technology and continuous improvement
- Provide general administrative support to the Human Resources department and assist with departmental projects as assigned
- Post‑secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in an HR Administration, HR Operations, or HR Coordinator role
- Experience administering an HRIS;
Dayforce experience is considered a strong asset - Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and One Drive
- Demonstrated experience managing electronic records and document management systems
- Exceptional organizational skills with outstanding attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
