As an integral member of the Talent Acquisition team, the Talent Acquisition Specialist is crucial in supporting high-volume manufacturing operations across multiple teams. The role reports directly to the Director of Talent Acquisition and is matrixed to local HR Business Partners to ensure alignment with site-specific workforce needs. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity.
Job Specifications Primary Responsibilities- Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract, screen, and hire high-volume hourly talent across multiple manufacturing sites.
- Support on-site recruiting needs, local hiring events, and plant stakeholder engagement.
- Partner closely with local HR Business Partners and plant hiring managers to understand site-specific staffing needs, workforce plans, and operational priorities.
- Serve as the primary recruiting point of contact for assigned sites while maintaining alignment with centralized Talent Acquisition strategy.
- Create and manage compliant job postings, active candidate pipelines, interactive interviews, and formal employment offers for hourly manufacturing roles.
- Utilize multiple sourcing channels including local job boards, social media networks, community partnerships, and employee referrals to build a strong local talent pipeline.
- Conduct rigorous candidate screening and interviews, and coordinate onsite and virtual interview processes.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from requisition intake through final hire onboarding.
- Maintain awareness of local labor market trends across assigned sites to inform recruiting strategies and hiring recommendations.
- Deliver a positive, professional, and consistent candidate experience across all locations.
- Track and report daily recruiting activity and outcomes, sharing productivity insights with TA leadership and HR partners.
- Ensure strict compliance with all federal, state, and local employment regulations.
- Proven experience in high-volume recruitment, specifically in manufacturing or related industrial sectors.
- Strong understanding of the electric utility market and its specific workforce requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various operational stakeholders.
- Proficient in using HRIS and recruitment software, as well as social media and professional networks for recruitment (Success Factors ATS will be used).
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple positions simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Solid knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- High level of professionalism and a proven ability to handle confidential search information.
- A college degree or equivalent professional experience is required.
- Minimum of 3+ years of professional high-volume recruitment experience is required.
