Some companies say their people are their greatest asset. At American Metals Supply, we took it a step further – our people are our owners.
As a 100% employee-owned company, every team member has a stake in our success. Since 1962, we’ve built lasting relationships with our customers by investing in our employees, delivering exceptional service, and creating a workplace people are proud to be a part of. As we expand into the future, we’re looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist who shares our people-first mindset and is ready to help make an already great workplace even better.
If your idea of a great day includes solving problems, celebrating wins, answering the occasional "quick HR question" (that isn t always quick), and making work a better place for everyone, you might be exactly who we re looking for. We want someone who thrives on variety, builds genuine relationships, and knows that great HR is equal parts strategy, support, and a little bit of superhero magic.
In this role, you ll make a meaningful impact across recruiting, employee relations, payroll, benefits, onboarding, and HR operations—because no two days in HR are ever the same.
As our Human Resources Generalist, you ll partner closely with the HR Director while supporting employees and managers across multiple locations. We re looking for someone who is approachable, easygoing, and enjoys working with people—but also isn t afraid to roll up their sleeves, pitch in where needed, and be a dependable team player. If that sounds like you, we d love to meet you.
