Job Description & How to Apply Below

Company Description

IVERSON is a creative technology partner to ambitious companies. We help businesses identify opportunities and solve their most pressing problems. Thumb-stopping campaigns, brand formation, and world-class interface design are just a few ways we drive impact.

We are looking for a Creative Recruiter to build and own our recruiting function from the ground up. This person will identify, engage, and close the exceptional creative talent that defines Iverson. You know how to recognize world-class creative work, build relationships long before there's an opening, and create recruiting systems that scale as we grow. You care as much about protecting the talent bar as you do about filling roles.

Responsibilities
  • Know exceptional creative talent. Understand what great looks like across creative leadership, brand, product, web, motion, video, strategy, development, and production. Assess portfolios, craft, strategic thinking, speed, communication, and culture fit with confidence.
  • Build the bench before we need it. Partner with Operations to turn project forecasts into proactive hiring plans, building trusted pipelines for the roles we hire repeatedly so every search doesn't start from zero.
  • Don't rely on inbound. Find exceptional people who are not actively applying. Build relationships across agencies, startups, studios, creative communities, portfolio platforms, and personal networks. Know who is available now, who may be available soon, and who is worth waiting for.
  • Own the full candidate experience. Lead sourcing, outreach, screening, portfolio reviews, interview scheduling, candidate communication, references, offers, and close. Keep every search moving quickly and make the process feel thoughtful, personal, and organized.
  • Protect the talent bar. Never hire simply to fill seats. Calibrate closely with creative and functional leaders, challenge weak recommendations, and advance only candidates who meet Iverson's standards for quality, speed, judgment, and collaboration.
  • Create clarity before the search begins. Partner with hiring leaders to define responsibilities, seniority, evaluation criteria, interview plans, and timelines. Turn ambiguous hiring requests into disciplined searches.
  • Build systems. Create a recruiting operation that Iverson owns. Maintain clean candidate data, reusable pipelines, consistent scorecards, clear reporting, and a record of every hiring decision.
  • Give candidates a high-touch experience. Move quickly, communicate directly, and never leave people guessing. Represent Iverson with warmth, honesty, and good judgment from first outreach through the final decision.
  • Support the full talent lifecycle. Partner with Operations on onboarding, offboarding, contractor renewals, and talent records. Help new team members arrive with clear expectations, context, and the support they need to succeed.
  • Operate with urgency and discipline. Manage multiple high-priority searches without lowering the bar or losing the details. Know when to push, when to recalibrate, and when to tell the business the right person simply isn't available yet.
  • Stay close to the market. Track compensation, talent availability, hiring trends, emerging creative disciplines, and shifts in how creative work gets done. Bring Iverson a current view of the talent market and use it to shape smarter hiring decisions.
  • Lead by our values. Build trust with candidates and hiring teams through rigor, humility, openness, and quiet confidence. Handle sensitive information carefully and treat every person with respect, including those we don't hire.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience : 5+ years recruiting creative talent across design, brand, product, marketing, video, development, or agency environments. Experience building recruiting processes from the ground up is strongly preferred.
  • Creative Judgment :
You know exceptional creative work when you see it. You can confidently evaluate portfolios, strategic thinking, communication, and overall talent beyond what's written on a resume.
  • Talent Magnet :
You proactively build relationships with exceptional people before there's an open role and consistently uncover candidates others miss.
  • Systems Builder :
You enjoy creating recruiting operations that are organized, repeatable, data-driven, and built to scale.
  • Candidate Experience :
You move quickly, communicate clearly, and make every candidate feel respected and informed regardless of the outcome.
  • Decision Making :
You know when to push a search forward,…
