We have a current opening for a HR Generalist (Benefits & Comp Focus) for our Sacramento, CA office.
Responsibilities:Benefits & Retirement Administration
- Administer employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, FSA/HSA, and voluntary benefits.
- Process enrollments, life events, eligibility changes, and terminations.
- Support 401(k) administration, including enrollments, contribution changes, loans, and employee inquiries.
- Assist with annual open enrollment, employee communications, andbenefitseducation.
- Conduct benefits audits and reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
- Coordinate leave programs, including FMLA, CFRA, PDL, ADA-related leaves, and applicable state leave programs.
- Maintain leave records, track leave activity, and support return-to-work processes.
- Serve as a resource for employees and managersregardingleave-related questions.
- Assist with salary benchmarking, market pricing, pay range administration, and job description maintenance.
- Support compensation reviews, annual salary planning, and compensation-related reporting.
- Analyze workforce, compensation, and benefits data to support HR and business decisions.
- Serve as a liaison with benefit carriers, brokers, retirements providers, andthird-party benefit administration.
- Assist with vendor implementations, renewals, issue resolution, and process improvements.
- Support compliance activities related to ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, and applicable leave laws.
- Maintainaccurateemployee records and documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, ora related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in benefits administration, leave administration,and compensation
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with and interpret data.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HRIS systems preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Physical Requirements
- Must wear proper PPE while on jobsites.
- Must comply withall safety standards and procedures.
- Sit, stand, and walk during the duration of the workday.
- Will lift, carry, push, pull, kneel, crouch, and reach.
- $75,000/year - $85,000/year
- This is a exempt position.
