Job Summary

The Recruiting Coordinator for Primoris Heavy Civil in Louisiana will support the recruitment team by managing administrative tasks, scheduling interviews, and ensuring a smooth candidate experience for heavy civil construction roles. Bilingual is not required but is preferred.

• Coordinate and schedule interviews (phone, virtual, and in-person) with candidates and hiring managers, managing complex calendars and time zones.
• Manage the applicant tracking system (ATS) by updating candidate statuses, inputting data, and ensuring data integrity.
• Prepare and send offer letters, new hire paperwork, and background check requests.
• Communicate regularly with candidates, providing updates on application status and answering general inquiries.
• Assist in the creation and posting of job descriptions on various job boards and career sites.
• Support recruiters in sourcing and screening resumes for entry-level and mid-level positions.
• Coordinate and facilitate onboarding logistics for new hires, including scheduling orientation and preparing necessary materials.
• Maintain accurate and organized recruitment files and documentation.
• Participate in recruitment events, job fairs, and campus recruiting initiatives as needed.
• Generate recruitment reports and provide data analysis as requested by the recruiting team.

• Associate's degree required;
  Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in an administrative support role, preferably within a human resources or recruiting department.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is highly desirable.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in the construction or heavy civil industry is a plus.
• Must be able to work effectively in a dynamic and evolving work environment.

Primoris Heavy Civil provides highway, port, airfield, rail and marine (intermodal transportation) construction services to private commercial and industrial clients as well as governmental entities such as the Department of Transportation and the US Army Corps of Engineers.
