Project Manager - Service Now ITSM

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Project Manager with deep expertise in Service Now ITSM implementations and Background Verification (BGV) programs. The candidate will lead large-scale ITSM transformations, manage end-to-end BGV project delivery, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely, compliant, and high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end Service Now ITSM project delivery, including planning, execution, monitoring, risk management, and closure.
  • Manage BGV programs/projects, including vendor onboarding, process standardization, compliance tracking, and SLA governance.
  • Drive implementation and optimization of Service Now ITSM modules:
    Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Request Management, Knowledge Management.
  • Ensure adherence to ITIL v3/v4 best practices.
  • Manage UAT, production releases, and post-go-live support.
  • Technical Skills & Expertise
  • Service Now ITSM (mandatory) - hands-on project leadership experience.
  • ITIL v3 / ITIL v4 certified or strong practical experience.
  • Strong understanding of CMDB, integrations, workflows, and automation.
  • Experience with BGV tools, vendors, and compliance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Tools:
    Service Now, JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 10+ years of overall IT experience.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale ITSM and BGV initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP / PRINCE2 / SAFe certification.
  • Service Now certifications (CSA, ITSM, or higher).
  • Experience working in global delivery or shared services environments.
