Quality Assurance Analyst

The Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst will conduct testing on our software, both pc desktop based applications and web applications to identify bugs, defects, missing requirements, and other potential issues.

• Reviews design specifications to understand the scope, requirements, and function of the software product.
• Identifies appropriate parameters, functions, and data to test and validate. Parameters may include general function, validity of results, accuracy, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
• Conducts testing to ensure products perform according to user requirements and within established guidelines.
• Identifies, logs and recreates error codes, bugs and defects.
• When a product does not perform within specifications, reports defects to the programming team while identifying and recommending solutions, improvements, and updates.
• Makes sure all the Jira tickets are properly transitioned and closed.

• High level computer skills including e-mail, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Postman, Table Plus, Jira, and Bitbucket is required.
• Knowledge of Apple MacOS, Microsoft Windows, and Linux is required.
• Extensive knowledge of software and database testing including designing and manipulating test data, validating stored jobs, and error replication is required.
• Knowledge of QA test cases is required.
• Ability to create test plans and cases from specifications or verbal communications is required.
• Knowledge of the different software development environments, including Programming, QA, Beta Test or User Acceptance, and Production is required.
