Role OverviewThe Director of Sales will drive new client acquisition and revenue growth across the West Region, with a focus on cloud, data, AI, and digital transformation services. This role requires a strategic hunter with strong partner-led selling experience and the ability to build trusted C-suite relationships. You will collaborate closely with Microsoft, AWS, Snowflake, Salesforce, and Databricks field teams to shape go-to-market strategies and guide clients through modernization journeys.
Key Responsibilities New Business & Revenue Growth- Acquire new clients across cloud, data, AI/ML, analytics, and IT professional services.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline through proactive prospecting and partner collaboration.
- Lead opportunities from qualification through close using disciplined enterprise sales methodologies.
- Develop joint go-to-market strategies with Microsoft, AWS, Snowflake, Salesforce, and Databricks.
- Leverage deep knowledge of Azure, Fabric, and Data & AI offerings to position Trinus solutions.
- Identify and cultivate high-value partner accounts and co-sell motions.
- Build trusted relationships with C-level and senior decision makers.
- Diagnose client challenges and craft value-based solutions aligned to business outcomes.
- Navigate complex client organizations and influence multi‑level stakeholders.
- Partner with pre‑sales, delivery, and marketing to develop tailored proposals and pricing.
- Articulate differentiated value propositions and industry-specific insights.
- Champion Trinus’ capabilities across cloud migration, data modernization, AI/ML, analytics, and managed services.
- Collaborate across global delivery, architecture, and practice teams.
- Contribute to regional sales planning, forecasting, and market intelligence.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and client success.
- 10–15+ years of sales or business development experience in IT services, cloud, data, or AI consulting.
- Proven success selling Microsoft Azure, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, Salesforce, Data & AI, cloud enablement, modernization, or analytics services.
- Strong network of C-suite and partner relationships across the West Coast.
- Demonstrated ability to exceed quotas and lead complex pursuits.
- Expertise in solution/value-based selling and co-sell strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- Ability to travel up to ~40%.
