Overview

Founded in 1963, Wings of Hope aims to bring hope to people where aviation is vital for humanitarian endeavors. We work on a global scale to help vulnerable communities access resources essential for human dignity. At our St. Louis headquarters, the Medical Relief & Air Transport (MAT) Program provides medical air transport services, free of charge, to individuals who need specialized medical care not available locally.

Wings of Hope also provides middle and high school students with project-based learning and connections to STEM curriculum through our SOAR into STEM four-week, hands-on program. Volunteers contribute to a mission of Changing & Saving Lives Through the Power of Aviation.

Volunteer hours are generally 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

• Support our technology infrastructure and its users.
• Assist with Microsoft network, desktop computers, network printers, and Microsoft software tasks as experience allows.
• Test equipment, perform installation and hardware support.
• Test software, perform installation and maintenance.
• Provide orientation and training to users on our network and equipment.

• Experience with Microsoft networks, desktop computers, network printers, and Microsoft software is preferred.
• Be on-site for 4 hours at least one day a week between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
• Volunteers must undergo a background check prior to placement. By submitting your application, you acknowledge and consent to a background screening, which may include criminal history, sex offender registry, and other relevant checks, as permitted by law. Wings of Hope will conduct background checks in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. A criminal record does not automatically disqualify an applicant;
