$36 - $45 (hourly estimate)

One of Insight Global’s customers is looking to onboard a Sr. Data Analyst to their team in Santa Monica to support the organization with actionable insights, production-quality dashboards, and reliable data pipelines. This individual will own the intake of analytics requests, translate business questions into analytical plans, and independently deliver end to end solutions—from data engineering (ETL/Airflow scheduling) and Databricks transforms to SQL analysis and Tableau dashboards.

This role thrives with minimal oversight and tight partnership with studio leaders, producers, and operations. They will be responsible for triaging analytics requests from studio stakeholders, clarify scope, define success metrics, and manage a personal backlog and delivery timelines, and building, iterating, and maintaining Tableau dashboards. This is a 6-month contract and will be onsite 4 days a week in Santa Monica, CA.

• 2-3 years of experience with Masters Degree
• Databricks experience
• Advanced SQL (complex joins, window functions, performance tuning)
• Building, publishing, and optimizing dashboards using Tableau
• Understanding of data engineering fundamentals including ETL/ELT, Airflow orchestration, and job scheduling/monitoring
• Self directed mentality, manages own backlog, and delivers without daily oversight
• Masters in Statistics/Data Science/Economics
• Excellent communication skills and eager

• Experience with Python
• Causal inference & experimentation knowledge, including uplift modeling, power analysis, difference in differences, propensity methods, CUPED, sequential testing
