We’re seeking a sharp, trusted, and highly autonomous Senior Enterprise Solutions Engineer to help drive Ninja One’s expansion into the State, Local, and Education (SLED) market. This is a builder role—your chance to shape how we engage complex public sector accounts, scale technical wins, and define what great looks like in enterprise pre-sales. You’ll own the full technical sales cycle—from discovery and architecture through proof-of-concept and implementation—while partnering closely with Account Executives to influence deal strategy and deliver measurable impact.

Location: Remote - California

Travel Requirement: Up to 30% including strategic customer meetings, industry events, and team collaboration.

• Own the full pre-sales technical experience for SLED and enterprise accounts—guiding prospects through evaluation, product demos, architecture design, and proof-of-concept stages.
• Collaborate closely with Account Executives and Sales Leadership to drive public sector growth and align technical value to agency and institutional goals.
• Partner with onboarding and Customer Success teams to accelerate time-to-value and ensure long-term adoption across large, distributed public environments.
• Support the review and alignment of technical content within RFPs and RFIs, providing subject matter expertise and compliance insight, without owning full proposal management.
• Serve as a strategic voice between Sales and Product—surfacing SLED-specific feedback, identifying feature gaps, and influencing roadmap direction.
• Build and maintain reusable technical assets including lab environments, demo flows, battle cards, and scripts to support a scalable AE-to-SE model.
• Represent Ninja One at government and education-focused events, conferences, and customer forums.
• Help shape the future of the Enterprise SE function as a founding member of the team, contributing to playbooks, processes, and cross-functional alignment.

• Proficiency in Windows environments (registry, services, performance troubleshooting).
• Familiarity with Linux/macOS systems and basic command-line troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and endpoint protections.
• Hands-on experience with RMM tools, ITSM platforms, and endpoint lifecycle management.
• Scripting experience in Power Shell, JavaScript, and/or VBScript is strongly preferred.
• Comfortable navigating complex IT ecosystems and integrating with existing infrastructure.
• Experience with Salesforce, Jira, Highspot, or equivalent systems is required.

• 10+ years in a pre-sales engineering, solutions architecture, or technical consulting role supporting SLED or enterprise B2B SaaS customers
• Evolved from a technical background (e.g., TAM, support, systems engineer) with practical insight into IT operations at scale across government or education environments
• Strong communicator with executive presence—able to tailor messaging for administrators, technical staff, and agency leadership
• Brings deep domain knowledge in IT operations, RMM, endpoint management, and ITSM-adjacent platforms within the public sector
• Understands how IT teams in SLED environments evaluate, procure, and scale solutions—along with insight into procurement processes and compliance considerations
• Known for high emotional intelligence, technical credibility, and a customer-first mindset
