Karsun is seeking a forward-thinking Proposal Manager to join our Proposal Team. This role bridges proposal development, Business Development, and Capture functions, driving innovation, insight, and AI-enabled efficiency across every stage of the pursuit lifecycle. The ideal candidate blends an understanding of Federal acquisition with a passion for emerging technologies and data-driven content strategy. This position is about transforming how Karsun wins business through more innovative tools, stronger insights, and the development of highly engaging content.

The Proposal Manager will help define how Karsun pursues and wins new business. This is an opportunity for a creative, analytical professional to shape the next generation of growth operations, ensuring every pursuit is faster, more innovative, and more compelling, powered by AI and human insight.

• AI Governance & Enablement: Champion best practices for responsible AI use across the Proposal and Growth Teams. Evaluate emerging tools and ensure compliance, security, and ethical standards.
• Embed AI in Growth Operations: Design and operationalize AI workflows for BD, Capture, and Proposal, leveraging generative AI for market research, opportunity shaping, content development, competitive analysis, and response drafting.
• Content Leadership: Refine and enhance proposal and marketing content using AI-assisted tools to improve clarity, precision, and alignment with Karsun's voice and brand.
• Pursuit Strategy Support: Partner with Capture and BD leads to translate technical solutioning and customer insights into compelling, data-informed narratives and win themes.
• Market and Competitor Intelligence: Utilize AI-driven analytics to identify market trends, competitive signals, and teaming opportunities aligned to Karsun's growth strategy.
• Teaming and Partner Engagement: Identify, evaluate, and engage potential partners and subcontractors. Support negotiations and teaming agreements that strengthen pursuit positions.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive innovation in content management, pursuit data capture, and collaboration processes across the Growth ecosystem.

• 5+ years of experience supporting Federal BD, Capture, or Proposal functions (combined experience acceptable).
• Demonstrated experience integrating or applying AI/automation tools within a professional or technical workflow.
• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills with an ability to synthesize technical and strategic content.
• Strong understanding of Federal acquisition, RFP structures, and the end-to-end pursuit lifecycle.
• Proficiency with collaboration and content tools (SharePoint, MS Teams/Google Meet, and AI platforms).

• General familiarity with Karsun's solution areas (Modern Software Development, Cloud, Data).
• Experience using AI tools for content development, data visualization, or capture intelligence.
• Demonstrated success working in hybrid Proposal and BD/Capture or innovation-focused teams.
