IT QA Tester / Automation, Systems Analyst
As a Senior Embedded Device Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of embedded software products. You will be responsible for testing software code in accordance with established quality standards, meeting client requirements, and contributing to the overall success of our projects. Your expertise will help identify defects early in the development process, allowing for timely resolutions and enhanced product performance.
Key Responsibilities- Create and review test cases based on functional specifications and software requirement specifications, ensuring comprehensive coverage of testing scenarios for embedded systems.
- Execute functionality testing in alignment with the test plan and respective test cases, utilizing Python for automation where applicable to enhance efficiency.
- Contribute to the development of test plans, ensuring they accurately reflect the requirements and scope of the work assigned to the team.
- Track test coverage, defect density, and other relevant metrics, compiling and publishing progress reports to inform stakeholders of testing outcomes.
- Coordinate discussions with the testing team and interact with clients to provide updates on testing progress and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Strong understanding of embedded device testing principles and methodologies.
- Proficient in Python for test automation and script development.
- Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks relevant to embedded systems.
- Solid knowledge of software testing life cycle (STLC) and quality assurance best practices.
- Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with team members and clients.
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
