The Boeing Company, Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is hiring an Advanced Information Technologist – Mid Level Cloud Engineer for its Digital Infrastructure Segment in Saint Louis, MO.

Location:

Hazelwood, MO (100% onsite). Travel up to 10% domestically and/or internationally.

Required Security Clearance:
Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).

• Orchestrate the installation and configuration of complex Commercial Off‑The‑Shelf (COTS) packages (e.g., Engineering tools, Product Lifecycle Management, Manufacturing Operations Management, Enterprise Resource Planning applications) on a cloud platform.
• Maintain COTS tools throughout the software lifecycle and document changes in the configuration management database.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) scripts using Terraform, ARM, and Bicep to provision compute, storage, and networking resources required by COTS vendors.
• Collaborate with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to validate architecture, manage software licenses, and ensure license compliance with vendor and security requirements.
• Assist in generating and collecting license dashboard metrics.
• Maintain consistency across development, test, and production environments to prevent configuration drift in proprietary application stacks.
• Optimize underlying cloud resources to meet vendor‑ and contract‑specified performance benchmarks and assist in scaling horizontally or vertically.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Public Cloud Platforms.
• 1+ year of experience with Dev Ops practices.

• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning Systems.
• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management Systems.
• Security+ Certified (or similar certification meeting DoD Directive 8140 Certification Requirements).
