Help Desk Support Specialist

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Help Desk Support Specialist to join our team and provide frontline support to students, staff, and faculty in a dynamic vocational education environment. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and maintaining a high standard of service for our users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to technical support requests via email, phone, or in-person.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues across student and staff systems.
• Assist with account setup, password resets, LMS access, and general tech onboarding.
• Maintain accurate logs of support requests and solutions in the ticketing system.
• Collaborate with IT and administrative teams to resolve complex issues and improve internal systems.
• Provide friendly, clear guidance to non-technical users with patience and professionalism.
• Support virtual and in-person classroom technologies and student platforms.

Qualifications:

• Previous help desk or tech support experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace, Windows/Mac systems, and basic networking.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and adapt to fast-paced environments.
• Bilingual a plus, but not required.
• Experience with vocational education platforms is a bonus.
