We are looking for an experienced Global Service Delivery Manager to join the Global Operations Team in the Business Technology (BT) organization. The Global Service Delivery Manager will be responsible for managing and delivering services in the scope of building, maintaining, and enhancing internal software supporting multiple business domains. This role will partner closely with development teams (internal and external), administrators and operations specialists, project stakeholders and business users.
Their role will report to the Global Applications & Managed Service Operations Leader.
- Organize delivery teams within structure and process to ensure service delivery.
- Define responsibilities and communication flow within service delivery organization.
- Monitor issues and bottlenecks in the service delivery process, propose and execute improvements.
- Collect and present metrics about service groups' performance and efficiency.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Scrum masters and other stakeholders to understand needs and provide necessary tweaks to service delivery organization.
- Collaborate on roadmaps and coordinate resources around work entrusted to the group.
- Monitor staffing and cost. Prepare hiring plans to secure service delivery capability.
- Ensure service continuity with focus on continuous improvement.
- Assess, communicate, and mitigate risks with elaborate mitigation strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business management field (Suggested: IT background, IT hands‑on experience).
- 5+ years of experience in managing delivery teams in Information Technology projects.
- Strong capabilities in area of project management and leadership.
- Experienced in managing multiple projects at the same time.
- Experienced in managing technical resources, team building and resource planning.
- Experienced on project planning activities as well as monitoring/reporting progress.
- Good understanding of Agile Methodologies, SDLC process and project delivery phases.
- Experience in working in agile environment and scrum projects.
- Solid understanding of scrum roles and principles (Suggested: experience in Scrum Master or Product Owner role).
- Strong communication skills with comfort in speaking with all roles involved in the project.
- English fluency in speaking and writing.
- Demonstrated experience of working in a non-hierarchical culture of collaboration, transparency, safety, and trust.
