ServiceNow Platform Architect

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end Service Now solutions, including CSM, FSM and other Service Now applications.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to define the architectural vision and roadmap for Service Now implementations.
• Oversee the customization and configuration of Service Now modules, ensuring best practices and scalability.
• Architect integrations between Service Now and third-party systems (such as LDAP, Active Directory, SAP, and custom APIs), ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring the adoption of best practices and consistent, high-quality coding standards.
• Identify opportunities to optimize Service Now environments for performance, usability, and cost-efficiency, including reviewing data models, integrations, and workflows.
• Establish governance processes to ensure the integrity, security, and compliance of Service Now environments, including the proper management of data, access control, and system configurations.
• Act as a subject matter expert, providing advice and recommendations to clients on Service Now architecture, process automation, and platform capabilities.
• Produce comprehensive solution documentation, including architecture diagrams, workflows, and implementation guides.
• Lead efforts for system upgrades, patching, and platform enhancements, ensuring minimal impact on operations and aligning with new Service Now releases and features.

• CSM and FSM Implementation experience is required.
• Hands‑on development, including creation, configuration and customization of patterns, Discovery schedules, probes, sensors and Event rules.
• Hands‑on experience with integrating Service Now with other CMDB tools and enterprise monitoring systems.
• Expertise in Custom module implementations on App Engine.
• Working experience on Workflow administration, Service Now Reporting, Form/UI configurations, Notifications, data imports, and custom scripting.
• Experience in identifying opportunities for process automation and optimization using advanced Service Now features.
