AI Transformation Lead (Client-Embedded)
We are looking for a hands‑on transformation lead who turns AI roadmaps into real results, driving adoption, building capability and keeping client teams moving on the ground.
Freelance / Contracted
· Netherlands or Denmark (on‑site at client)
· 6-12 months per assignment (with frequent possibilities of extension)
As an AI Transformation Lead, you will be placed at one or more of our clients to lead the practical execution of their AI transformation. Tatoma provides the strategic direction, leadership alignment and methodology. You make it happen inside the client organization.
Your job is to take the roadmap and make it real. You run the day‑to‑day transformation at the client: keeping their teams moving, removing blockers, driving adoption and making sure knowledge sticks. You are the person who ensures workshops don’t stay in slides, that training actually changes behavior and that AI tools get used, not just deployed.
You lead by example on focus, discipline and learning. You keep value visible, make hard choices and ensure momentum never stalls. You interact with client leadership to report progress and flag decisions, but your primary focus is with the teams doing the work. Throughout the assignment, you stay connected to Tatoma as your home base, sharing learnings and drawing on our collective expertise.
What You Will DoExecute the Client
Roadmap:
Own the day‑to‑day transformation at the client. Translate the strategic roadmap into concrete work streams, milestones and deliverables. Track progress, manage priorities and ensure outcomes actually land in how the client organization works.
Drive Adoption and Motivation: You are the engine of change inside the client organization. Run workshops, build excitement, address resistance and help teams see the value of new ways of working. You keep energy high and make adoption feel natural, not forced.
Build and Maintain Learning Paths: Design persona‑based learning journeys in partnership with Tatoma and external specialists. Ensure training materials, prompt libraries and use‑case examples are accessible, up‑to‑date and relevant for the client’s different roles and seniority levels.
Manage Knowledge and Content: Curate a living library of successful AI workflows, prompts and best practices specific to the client. Keep the knowledge base current as AI evolves fast and ensure obsolete content is removed.
Coordinate Training Operations: Manage the calendar for workshops and trainings, run feedback loops, and continuously improve based on what works. You own the logistics so nothing falls through the cracks.
Foster a Community of Champions: Build and nurture a network of early adopters and power users within client departments who can mentor their peers and sustain momentum locally.
Bridge Tatoma and the Client: Act as the link between Tatoma’s strategic input, external specialists and the practical reality of the client’s internal teams. Ensure external knowledge transfers into embedded capability, not dependency.
Report on Progress and Value: Prepare clear updates for client leadership, focusing on adoption metrics, ROI and what needs attention. You flag decisions upward and keep stakeholders informed without losing time on the ground.
Embed AI into Onboarding and Culture: Work with the client’s HR team to ensure new hires are immediately integrated into the new way of working, from access to AI tools on day one to foundational training and cultural immersion.
Your ProfileYou are a doer. You combine program management rigor with the people skills to bring an entire client organization along. You are not here to strategize from the sidelines, you are here to make transformation stick.
Transformation and Program Management: At least 5 years of experience in business transformation, change management or program management. You know how to break strategy down into actionable tasks, milestones and backlogs.
AI Literate: You are not necessarily a coder, but you understand how modern AI systems work. You can have meaningful conversations about LLMs, prompting, data flows and governance, and you are excited to teach…
