Scopeof Work
Capio Group is looking for an experienced Scrum Master to provide services to implement a cloud‑based Software‑as‑a‑Service (SaaS) licensing and compliance platform that consolidates multiple legacy systems into a unified enterprise solution. Responsibilities include project planning and governance, requirements elicitation and user story development, solution design, systems integration, API and interface development, data conversion and migration, configuration management, testing support, sprint execution, training and knowledge transfer, production deployment, and post‑implementation support.
The project will be delivered using Agile Scrum methodologies through a phased implementation approach, requiring the successful configuration, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of a secure, FedRAMP‑compliant cloud solution that supports licensing, compliance, enforcement, case management, document management, reporting, payment processing, and integration with internal and external systems. The contractor will also provide ongoing maintenance and operations, service desk support, system enhancements, regulatory updates, security compliance, performance monitoring, and operational support to ensure continued system availability, reliability, and alignment with evolving business and legislative requirements.
The Scrum Master will support various objectives, which may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Responsibilities- Facilitate Agile delivery processes and support successful execution of project activities using Agile methodologies.
- Facilitate all Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement sessions, sprint reviews, retrospectives, release planning sessions, and team planning meetings.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to maintain prioritized product backlogs.
- Support development teams in understanding business priorities, sprint objectives, and release goals.
- Track sprint velocity, burn‑down metrics, capacity planning, and delivery performance. Identify, document, and remove impediments affecting team productivity.
- Facilitate cross‑team coordination and dependency management activities.
- Promote Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure user stories meet acceptance criteria and are appropriately refined prior to sprint execution.
- Assist teams in estimating effort, managing sprint commitments, and maintaining delivery predictability.
- Coordinate stakeholder demonstrations, sprint showcases, and feedback sessions.
- Support release planning and deployment readiness activities.
- Monitor Agile performance metrics and recommend process improvements.
- Facilitate resolution of delivery conflicts, competing priorities, and resource constraints.
- Foster a collaborative, transparent, self‑organizing team environment.
