• Active U.S. Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI

• 1+ year(s) of test automation experience

• Proficiency with modern scripting or programming language(s) (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Power Shell, .Net etc.)

• Strong analytical skills

• Experience working in an Agile development environment Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• CompTIA Security+ Certification or better (unless bachelor’s degree earned in one of the following concentrations:
Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering)

• 2+ years of test automation experience

• Experience with Ranorex or similar frontend testing tools

• 2+ years of experience with Azure Dev Ops

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, Sonar Qube, Ranorex, Fortify, etc.)

• 1+ years of experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure Dev Ops, etc.)

• Experience with the .Net ecosystem and C#

Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join the growing team for one of our federal customers to support a Navy program. The program is currently expanding to include additional US and foreign customers and will remain relevant for many years. The successful candidate for the role of Software Engineer – Test Automation will play a crucial role in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of non-embedded software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle that meets industry, customer, and safety standards for the program, while adhering to strict government regulations.

You will have the opportunity to review, analyze, and translate customer requirements into initial design of software products. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing, maintaining, enhancing and optimizing software products and functionalities for systems integrations. Additionally, you will debug and resolve issues identified to ensure the reliability and efficiency of software products.

Position Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated frontend and backend tests in a .Net Framework and .Net 8/10 environment

• Create test automation plans based on program requirements

• Execute manual exploratory testing as needed; identify opportunities for automation

• Collaborate with product management and developers to establish comprehensive test scenarios

• Document identified defects in bug tracking system and validate implemented fixes

• Track test automation metrics (defect density, open defects, time to resolution, etc.)
