Senior Windows Systems Administrator

Overview

As a Systems Administrator you will support the critical server infrastructure for a Banking client in Fairfield, CA, ensuring system performance and implementing new technologies. This role is fully onsite for five days per week.

• Exchange administration across multiple environments
• Perform backup and restoration operations for users
• Troubleshoot issues escalated from first and second‑level help desks
• Propose and implement system and procedural enhancements
• Monitor system usage and performance and troubleshoot related issues
• Document implementations for knowledge transfer
• Perform hardware and software upgrades
• Project manage and lead solo projects and/or with a team
• Mentor junior system administrators

• Experience in administration, management, and upgrade implementations of Exchange
• Knowledge of multiple operating systems and related utilities and hardware
• Build server systems and install applications
• Experience with storage management, TCP/IP, system monitoring, and tools
• Experience with SCCM patching tools
• Hypervisor experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience

• Administration of Exchange, Linux, and Domino Notes Server
• Knowledge of Net App, Nutanix, HP Servers, HP Store Once, Hyper‑V, AOS, SQL Server, and Veeam/HYCU backup systems
