Senior Programmer, Supply Chain IT

Responsibilities

• Serve as a core Techno-Functional Architect for Blue Yonder solutions, including Order Promising, ESP / SCP engines, and related applications within the Blue Yonder ecosystem.
• Partner closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to support, sustain, enhance, and upgrade existing Order Promising and Blue Yonder Supply Chain Planning solutions.
• Design and implement robust, scalable integrations across Order Promising platforms, SAP S/4
  
  HANA, and downstream enterprise systems.
• Design and develop demand management and order prioritization capabilities leveraging data sourced from SAP S/4
  
  HANA.
• Translate business requirements into clear solution design and provide detailed implementation guidance to offshore and distributed development teams.
• Lead and coordinate system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities in collaboration with business partners.
• Provide technical and functional leadership within the Supply Chain IT team and across the broader IT organization.
• Coach and mentor junior developers, providing guidance on solution design, technologies, and supply chain business processes.
• Contribute to cross‑functional initiatives spanning SAP, Order Management, Scheduling, Supply Chain Planning, Reporting, and Finance.
• Independently manage multiple initiatives with competing priorities and aggressive delivery timelines.
• Apply and adapt development methodologies—including Agile, Iterative, Waterfall, and Test‑Driven Development (TDD)—based on project needs.
• Collaborate with third‑party vendors and contractors to deliver major programs and enhancements.
• Work with the offshore development team on key deliverables: develop user stories and acceptance criteria and work closely with cross‑functional technical teams to ensure alignment with business and technical requirements.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Information Technology roles.
• At least 10 years of hands‑on experience with Blue Yonder Order Promising and ESP / SCP solutions.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing end‑to‑end Order Promising solutions.
• Strong knowledge of the Blue Yonder application landscape, including configuration, customization, and integration.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience designing and implementing demand management and order prioritization strategies.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure.
• Proven experience integrating SAP (preferably SAP S/4
  
  HANA) with Blue Yonder solutions.
• Experience supporting complex manufacturing supply chains; semiconductor industry experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex interactions among people, processes, and technology.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong organizational skills with demonstrated success working in Agile environments and adapting to changing priorities.
