Information Technology Specialist; infosec​/Sysadmin

We require a minimum of one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level. Candidates must demonstrate the following specialized experience:

• Knowledge of and skill applying DOD and DON Information Technology Security regulations, requirements, and procedures.
• Working knowledge of equipment characteristics, computer techniques, requirements, methods, and procedures, including familiarity with approaches used by other agencies and the private sector to evaluate quality and level of service, and to provide advice and assistance to managers.
• Knowledge and skill applying project management principles and methods; performance management/measurement methods, tools, and techniques; requirement analysis principles and methods; acquisition management policies and procedures; analytical methods and practices; oral and written communication techniques sufficient to conduct analyses and recommend resolution of complex issues; identify and define business or technical requirements applied to the design, development, implementation, management, and support of systems and networks;
  
  evaluate proposals for acquisition of IT products or services; prepare and present reports; represent the organization in interactions with other organizations; and provide technical leadership on group projects.
