IT Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee a diverse portfolio of research and data science initiatives supporting Army customers
• Responsible for end-to-end program execution, managing budgets, deliverables, subcontractors, and distributed teams across multiple concurrent projects
• Provide strong operational leadership, ensuring effective staffing, clear scope definition, and consistent delivery
• Guide a team of data architects, data engineers, and data scientists to support operating an efficient AI platform for research programs
• Shape strategy, identifying innovative solutions, and supporting the growth of the program

• 12+ years of experience planning, directing, coordinating, and managing programs such as data platforms, engineering, data science, enterprise analytics, and solution architecture
• 12+ years of experience building and sustaining partnerships with government organizations and senior government executives
• 12+ years of experience with leadership, including leading dispersed cross-functional teams in the areas of engineering, architecture, analytics, and AI / ML, including subcontractors
• 10+ years of experience leading the design, development, and implementation of enterprise data platforms and analytics
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and their application within complex research and data science environments, and data quality standards, governance, and best practices
• Ability to manage large programs and interface with senior DoD clients
• Ability to recruit, hire, and strategically staff high performing teams aligned to mission needs and evolving project demands
