About Infrasync

Infrasync Technology Services helps water utilities tackle aging infrastructure, rising costs, and efficiency challenges through smart water management technology, data analytics, and engineering. The team connects a utility's physical infrastructure with its digital data systems (SCADA, CMMS, GIS, AMI), turning that data into real-time dashboards and insights instead of the long, unread engineering reports utilities have relied on for decades. Most of Infrasync's clients are municipal utilities, with active projects across Texas, Florida, Michigan, Louisiana, and other states.

About

the Role

Infrasync's engineers design the specs behind every client dashboard — the calculations, the layout, the placeholder data. This role is about taking those specs and building them into real, working dashboards and automated reports that utility clients actually use. You'll sit right in the middle of Infrasync's workflow between engineering and the finished product, with real ownership over how the company's reporting systems evolve.

  • Advanced proficiency with Power BI (required) including SQL, Python, and other languages Experience with Esri GIS (required).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure / Azure Fabric and API implementations.
  • Strong ability to take complex time-series, geospatial, and asset data and turn it into data models, dashboards, and reports.
  • Comfortable learning and simplifying complex water-industry topics — like water loss or sewer inflow and infiltration — into automated reporting systems.
  • Experience with water infrastructure or engineering is a strong plus, though not required.
  • Experience with front end applications such as React or Blazor is a plus but not required.
  • A genuine interest in using data to help cities make better infrastructure decisions.
Tech Stack & Tools
  • Power BI
  • Esri GIS
  • Microsoft Azure / Azure Fabric
  • Reporting Hub (client distribution) Icon Maps (custom visuals)

What Success Looks Like
  • Number of dashboards shipped.
  • Number of tickets/feature requests resolved from the backlog.
  • On-time schedule adherence.

A 10/10 hire is someone who can pick up Infrasync's existing systems and processes quickly, meet immediate project needs, and then help advance and improve the software and reporting systems to keep meeting utility clients' goals.
