Position OverviewAs a Kiosk QA Engineer Intern at Tillster, you will play a critical role in ensuring the flawless performance, security, and compliance of our kiosk solutions. You will collaborate closely with development teams, designers, and product managers to implement comprehensive testing strategies and deliver high‑quality kiosk applications.
Test Planning and Execution- Develop, implement, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for kiosk hardware and software applications.
- Perform functional, regression, security, and performance testing to ensure the reliability and accuracy of payment processing.
- Test and validate the integration of payment kiosk software with various hardware components, including card readers, printers, and touchscreens.
- Ensure seamless functionality and compatibility with different payment methods and processing systems.
- Implement and execute security testing procedures to identify and address potential vulnerabilities in payment kiosk applications.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to payment processing.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to conduct usability testing and ensure an optimal user experience for payment kiosk interfaces.
- Provide feedback on user interface design improvements.
- Document test cases, test results, and any issues identified during testing.
- Communicate effectively with development teams to provide detailed reports on bugs and improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field preferred, and or a senior in college looking for a paid intern role.
- Some experience in hardware QA testing for payment systems, preferably in a kiosk environment.
- On‑site role.
- Familiarity with payment processing protocols, standards, and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience with hardware testing tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of hardware testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with payment technologies such as EMV, NFC, and QR codes.

- Expected hourly rate is $20‑$25 an hour.
