Data Center Technician II We're hiring a Data Center Technician II to support enterprise data center deployments and infrastructure operations. This is a hands-on role responsible for installing, cabling, validating, and maintaining server, storage, networking, and GPU hardware in a fast-paced data center environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform rack & stack installations for servers, storage, networking, and GPU systems.
- Install rails, mount equipment, label assets, and maintain proper cable management.
- Connect and verify fiber, copper, and power cabling to data center standards.
- Support hardware moves, adds, changes (MACs), and equipment decommissioning.
- Follow deployment runbooks and engineering documentation.
- Perform hardware validation, physical troubleshooting, and asset tracking.
- Partner with engineering and networking teams during deployments and migrations.
- Adhere to ESD, safety, and security protocols.
- 3+ years of hands-on data center experience performing rack & stack.
- Strong understanding of server racks, structured cabling (fiber & copper), and PDUs.
- Experience installing enterprise hardware (Dell, HPE, Supermicro, or similar).
- Ability to read rack elevation diagrams and deployment documentation.
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working in rack environments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to following established procedures.
- Experience in hyperscale or GPU-dense data centers.
- High-performance computing (HPC) experience.
- Knowledge of hot/cold aisle containment best practices.
- Experience supporting large-scale hardware deployments or migrations.
- Basic Linux experience is a plus.
- Candidates must be able to provide one of the following for the required background screening:
- Valid U.S. Passport
