As an AI architect, you are the strategic designer and are responsible for the overall structure of AI systems. You take responsibility in the following areas:

• Analysis of business requirements and derivation of technical architecture concepts.
• Selection of suitable platforms, technologies, and frameworks.
• Definition of standards and best practices for AI development and operation.
• Ensuring security, compliance, and scalability.
• Controlling interfaces between business, IT, and data science.
• Accompanying the roadmap for AI initiatives in the company.

You ensure that AI solutions are not isolated but strategically embedded and sustainable in the long term, and help us to expand the area.

• You have a completed degree in (Business) Informatics, Engineering, or a comparable education and at least 5 years of professional experience
• You are communicative in German and English
• Experience in designing complex systems and leading architecture projects or platform introductions.
• Experience in building (scalable) AI landscapes (including data and model management)
• Knowledge regarding data architecture:
Data Lakes, ETL/ELT processes, streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka, Spark).
• Knowledge in the area of cloud & hybrid architectures (e.g., AWS, Azure or GCP, AI-specific services)
• Interface work between business, IT, and data science.
• Creation of roadmaps and target images for AI initiatives.
• Practice in deciding and evaluating technologies
• Fluent German skills
