Overnight IT Systems & Network Support Engineer

C&S Employment Solutions seeks an Overnight IT Systems & Network Support Engineer to monitor and support client infrastructure across servers, networks, and cloud systems. In this role, you will troubleshoot incidents, resolve tickets, and perform routine maintenance, backups, and patching during overnight shifts to ensure uptime and performance. You'll collaborate with day-shift teams, document issues, and follow ITIL-based processes. Responsibilities

• Monitor servers, networks, and critical systems during overnight shifts to ensure uptime and performance.
• Respond to alerts and tickets, diagnosing and resolving systems and network incidents within defined SLAs.
• Perform routine maintenance, patching, backups, and health checks on servers and network devices.
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers and coordinate with day-shift teams for follow-up.
• Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, changes, and configurations in ticketing and knowledge systems.
• Follow security and compliance best practices when managing systems and network access.
• Support onboarding and offboarding tasks such as account provisioning and permissions updates.
• Collaborate with C&S Employment Solutions teams and clients to communicate status and resolution of issues.
