Senior Analyst, Pet Services

• Retrieve, synthesize, and present critical data to answer specific questions or improve system performance
• Optimize hospital site-selection processes by integrating external predictive models, organizing KPIs, and developing advanced scorecards
• Manage hospital expansion end to end, including site selection, list management, and senior-level readouts
• Support business development with data-driven insights during sourcing, diligence, and integration
• Improve analytical methodologies by developing data sources, testing model enhancements, and fine-tuning model parameters
• Develop and present insights and recommendations to enhance service initiatives
• Conduct written and verbal presentations for audiences with varying technical sophistication
• Use Python, R, SQL, and modeling algorithms for data analysis
• Design, develop, and present strategic recommendations addressing key business questions
• Collaborate with Pet Services, eCommerce, store business teams, and internal departments
• Interact with technology and creative partners and product/service vendors
• Independently prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks within established time frames
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Advanced degree in Statistics, Math, Engineering, Economics or related business analytics discipline
• 3-5 years’ experience in business analytics
• Proficient with SQL, with experience in Snowflake
• Proficiency with multiple analytics tools;
  Python or R strongly preferred
• Hands-on experience with BI tools for data visualization
• Ability to explain and present advanced analytical methodologies and results to non-technical audiences
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent quantitative modeling, statistical analysis, and problem-solving skills
• Sophisticated user of statistical tools
• Related experience in a retail organization is a strong plus
• Must be self-driven, passionate about retail, and customer centric
• Demonstrable track record of dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering results in a dynamic environment
• Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation

Demonstrates expertise in data analysis using Python, R, and SQL, with a strong focus on developing predictive models and optimizing business processes. Proven ability to communicate complex analytical insights effectively to diverse audiences while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
