Position: 2027 Summer Intern: Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Management- Corporate
Location: Maplewood

  • You're a motivated student with a current 3.0 GPA or higher currently pursuing a degree in one of the following areas from an accredited college or university:
    • Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Accounting
  • This is a paid, full-time, 11-week internship designed to give you real-world experience and meaningful exposure to the telecommunications industry in your chosen field.
  • Internship program runs from May 26 through August 6, 2027.
  • In addition to role-specific projects, you'll take part in professional development sessions, networking opportunities, mentorship and experiences that help you grow personally and professionally.

What you can expect in this role

As a Spectrum intern, you'll spend the summer working alongside two teams: your respective department and your intern cohort.

Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You'll spend the other 20% on internship experiences that include a kickoff conference, professional development sessions and networking activities, webinars, community service, cross-functional projects and final presentations.

This experience is designed to help you explore your interests, expand your network and leave with a deeper understanding of both your field and the impact of our business.

Internship responsibilities may include:

Our team is responsible for supporting and maintaining the company's procurement technology ecosystem, which includes Ariba, SAP, and Fieldglass. We ensure these platforms operate seamlessly to enable efficient purchasing, supplier management, invoicing, and contingent workforce processes.

  • System Support & Customer Service:
    We provide end-user support through Cherwell, our ticketing system, by managing incidents, service uests, and inquiries related to procurement systems. Our team partners with business users to resolve issues quickly, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
  • Security Management:
    We oversee system access and permissions across Ariba, SAP, and Fieldglass to ensure compliance with security protocols and safeguard sensitive procurement and financial data.
  • Upgrades & Enhancements:
    We coordinate and execute system upgrades, patches, and new feature implementations. This includes testing and validating changes to ensure functionality and stability before deployment.
  • Outage Management:
    We monitor system performance and respond to outages or disruptions, working with internal teams and vendors to restore services as quickly as possible while keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Beyond day-to-day support, we identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve system functionality, and enhance the user experience across all supported platforms.
Required qualifications
  • Must be a rising senior with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028
  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a bachelor's degree
  • Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
  • Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
  • SAP, Excel - ton include basic formulas and functions
