We are seeking an experienced Disaster Recovery (DR) Platform Architect to lead the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity solutions. The role will focus on resilient infrastructure architecture, DR strategy, risk assessment, recovery automation, and ensuring rapid recovery of critical business services during disruptions.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement enterprise-wide Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity solutions
- Define resilient infrastructure architectures supporting high availability and fault tolerance
- Develop DR blueprints, recovery strategies, failover plans, and recovery automation
- Conduct risk, vulnerability, and resilience assessments across critical platforms
- Design DR solutions across Azure, AWS, GCP, and hybrid infrastructure environments
- Define backup, replication, storage, and recovery strategies
- Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, security, application, and business teams
- Establish DR governance, standards, policies, and architecture principles
- Support DR testing, simulations, failover exercises, and recovery validation
- Identify infrastructure risks and recommend remediation strategies
- Lead enterprise-scale DR transformation and modernization initiatives
- Provide technical leadership, stakeholder communication, and architectural guidance
- Strong experience designing and implementing Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity solutions
- Expertise in resilient infrastructure, high availability, and fault-tolerant architecture
- Experience developing DR blueprints, failover strategies, and recovery automation
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability assessments and risk analysis
- Strong knowledge of Azure, AWS, or GCP and hybrid infrastructure
- Knowledge of backup, replication, storage, and recovery technologies
- Experience with enterprise networking, virtualization, and infrastructure services
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience with enterprise-scale DR transformation programs
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements for business continuity
- Experience with DR orchestration and automation tools
- Certifications such as CBCP, MBCI, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, or CISSP
