About this job :

To ensure that the network infrastructure is functioning efficiently. Performs maintenance and modifications at the direction of the Network Engineer or his delegate. Assists users in system operation and corrects malfunctions or breakdowns promptly.

As a Network Support Technician you will:

Maintains system, installs new units, and makes modifications to the network system as required.

Performs diagnostic tests to ensure integrity of system and upgrades network equipment on a regular basis.

Is responsible for installation and maintenance of peripheral devices, including routers, switches , firewalls, and other network devices.

Works with network engineer or his delegate to review and analyze hardware and software needs and recommends changes and upgrades.

Maintains knowledge of technology developments through training courses, seminars, and publications.

Qualifications for Success :

An associate's degree in a computer related degree or two years experience in network support or equivalent combination of education and experience.
