The License Fulfillment & Operational Lifecycle Specialist owns the end-to-end delivery of software entitlements, and vendor licensing. This operational role bridges technical validation with rapid order execution, ensuring complex enterprise hardware and software configurations are accurately provisioned within a strict SLA.
Key Responsibilities:- Entitlement & License Delivery:
Generate activation keys, provision software entitlements, issue delivery notifications, and upload license files directly to customer-preferred storage locations or portals. - Technical Dependency Validation:
Audit order configurations against data center architecture and software dependencies prior to fulfillment to proactively catch missing licenses, capacity gaps, or configuration errors. - Backend Purchasing:
Execute backend vendor purchasing alongside the sales team for software and licensing entitlements that you confirmed we're missed during the original procurement phase. - OEM Portal Management:
Drive daily operations within Tier-1 vendor portals—including Cisco (CCW/Smart Licensing), Net App, Palo Alto (CSP), Thales (Sentinel), Dell, and HPE—while demonstrating the adaptability to quickly learn and integrate new OEM platforms as vendor portfolios expand. - SLA & Queue Management:
Maintain rigorous ticket queue hygiene, driving high-volume throughput and fast resolution times to consistently beat the 1-business-day turnaround SLA. - Stakeholder Communication:
Act as the primary operational liaison for end-user IT teams and internal Program Directors, providing real-time delivery status, key delivery, and technical resolution updates.
Experience:
- Vendor Portal Expertise:
Direct, hands-on experience navigating vendor licensing platforms, with deep familiarity in Cisco Smart Licensing/CCW and Net App Support Site heavily preferred. - Data Center Technical Knowledge:
Practical understanding of data center hardware configurations, virtualized environments, and vendor software licensing dependencies. - High-Speed Operations:
Proven experience working inside ticketing systems (e.g., Service Now, Jira, Connect Wise) managing high-volume deployment queues under aggressive SLAs. - Procurement
