Work on Frontier AI Systems | Via 10x.team | AI Lab Partner
Location Requirement: Europe (EU + UK)
The Opportunity10x.team is assembling a select group of European insurance specialists to support leading frontier AI labs in training next-generation models.
This is not traditional insurance work. This is model shaping. You will help advanced AI systems reason better about insurance: from underwriting logic and claims assessment to regulatory frameworks, policy interpretation, and actuarial reasoning across European markets. If you care about precision, risk analysis, and the future of intelligent systems, this is your arena.
Your MissionYou will contribute to reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF) datasets that strengthen AI reasoning across European insurance contexts.
Specifically, You Will- Draft complex prompts involving insurance reasoning; underwriting decisions, claims adjudication, policy wording interpretation, reinsurance structures, and regulatory compliance workflows
- Evaluate and refine AI-generated responses for technical accuracy, market-specific nuance, and professional standards
- Create variants of prompts tailored to different personas (e.g., underwriter, claims handler, broker, actuary, compliance officer, policyholder, IDD advisor)
- Design examples that intentionally expose weaknesses in insurance reasoning e.g., coverage ambiguities, exclusion clause logic, Solvency II misapplication, or flawed loss reserving
- Collaborate asynchronously with our research coordination team
This is structured, high-focus intellectual work.
Who We're Looking ForYou are an experienced insurance professional with hands-on expertise in European insurance markets.
Minimum Profile- Qualified insurance professional working within an EU or UK jurisdiction
- 3+ years of experience in underwriting, claims, broking, actuarial work, or insurance regulation
- Strong expertise in at least one domain (e.g., commercial/specialty underwriting, claims management, life/health insurance, reinsurance, actuarial analysis, Solvency II compliance, IDD distribution, IFRS 17 reporting, product development)
- Exceptional analytical ability and structured communication skills
- Ability to identify logical inconsistencies, coverage gaps, and reasoning errors quickly
- Relevant qualifications or certifications (e.g., ACII, FCII, DAV, actuarial fellowship, IDD certification)
- Experience across multiple lines of business or European markets
- Experience with Solvency II reporting, EIOPA guidelines, or IFRS 17 implementation
- Background in insurtech, parametric insurance, or emerging risk classes (cyber, climate, ESG)
- Interest in AI and emerging technologies
What matters most: you understand how insurance reasoning works in practice — risk selection, policy construction, claims logic, reserving methodology, regulatory capital requirements — and you can break it down with precision.
Commitment & Structure- Fully remote
- Asynchronous work (flexible scheduling — work in your own time)
- 10–20 hours per week
- Estimated duration: 2–4+ months (extension possible)
- Independent contractor agreement
High-quality contributors may be invited to longer-term AI training initiatives.
Compensation- Competitive hourly rate (market-aligned for senior European insurance professionals)
- Paid weekly via secure payment infrastructure
- Performance and quality-driven continuation
You won't be assessing risk for a single portfolio. You'll be shaping how AI systems understand and reason about European insurance — underwriting logic, claims analysis, Solvency II frameworks, policy interpretation, and actuarial methodology — at scale.
This is applied expertise with global impact.
