Seeking an experienced
Commercial Insurance Account Manager
to serve as the primary point of contact for a diverse portfolio of commercial clients, providing exceptional service and ensuring their insurance needs are met. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and has a deep understanding of commercial insurance policies and industry regulations. - Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with commercial clients through proactive communication and exceptional service.
- Provide expert advice on insurance coverage options and tailor policies to meet clients' unique needs.
- Act as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers, advocating for client needs and resolving issues promptly.
- Review, manage, and process policy renewals, endorsements, claims, and cancellations with accuracy and efficiency.
- Analyze and identify coverage gaps or additional needs and recommend appropriate products or endorsements.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and new insurance products to consult confidently with clients.
- Assist clients in understanding their policies, coverage terms, premiums, and associated benefits.
- Collaborate with internal teams, producers, and underwriters to deliver comprehensive insurance solutions.
- Ensure accuracy of client files, documentation, and data entry within company systems while adhering to compliance and confidentiality regulations.
- Actively seek opportunities to improve processes and create innovative ways to enhance customer experience.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Account Manager or similar role in the insurance industry, with a focus on commercial lines.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, policies, and industry regulations.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and maintain positive client relationships.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in insurance agency management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Active
Property & Casualty Insurance License
is required. - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional designations such as CIC, CRM, or CPCU.
- Familiarity with risk management principles and strategies.
