Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented
Agency Claims Specialist
to join a dynamic team. This role involves working closely with customers, agencies, and internal teams to process and manage claims efficiently while delivering an outstanding customer experience. The ideal candidate is a problem solver with excellent communication and organizational skills and thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
- Review, evaluate, and process agency claims in accordance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for claims-related inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate communication with clients and stakeholders.
- Conduct detailed assessments of claims documentation to determine accuracy, compliance, and validity.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as underwriting, legal, and customer service in resolving disputes or escalations.
- Maintain thorough and up-to-date records of claim activity using internal systems and tools.
- Identify trends and potential areas of process improvement to enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Provide support and guidance to clients during the claims process, ensuring transparency and professionalism throughout.
- Stay informed on industry regulations, best practices, and emerging trends related to claims management.
- Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a Claims Specialist, Agency Claims Manager, or similar role in the claims/insurance industry.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex processes to clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in claims management software and systems; familiarity with industry-specific tools is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in claims handling or related areas is a bonus (e.g., AIC, CPCU).
