Purpose
McLarens is seeking an experienced National General Adjuster to join our Casualty team. This fully remote role is responsible for investigating, evaluating, and managing general liability claims from initial assignment through resolution while providing exceptional service to our clients. The successful candidate will work independently, collaborate with field adjusters and account adjusters when needed, and deliver timely, accurate claim handling in accordance with client requirements and industry best practices.
We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience handling commercial casualty claims.

- Receive, review, and manage casualty claim assignments from initial intake through resolution.
- Investigate general liability claims by reviewing documentation, photographs, reports, and other supporting information.
- Analyze liability, damages, and policy coverage, escalating issues when appropriate.
- Communicate with insureds, claimants, carriers, brokers, attorneys, experts, and other stakeholders throughout the claim process.
- Coordinate with McLarens Field Adjusters when on-site inspections or additional investigation are required.
- Prepare timely, accurate reports and maintain complete claim documentation.
- Manage claim diaries and ensure compliance with client service standards and reporting deadlines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- College degree preferred.
- 5+ years of commercial and residential general liability experience, and casualty losses.
- Appropriate state adjuster license(s).
- National claims experience.
- Experience with general liability losses, product, contractors, and reinsurance preferred.
- Established Broker/Carrier relationships.
- Experience with commercial and residential ISO policies including manuscript interpretations.
- Knowledge of the independent claims adjusting business to include familiarity with local jurisdictional requirements and claim practices.
- Strong communication skills; both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
