Associate Attorney – Insurance Coverage

We are seeking a Senior Litigation Associate attorney to join our Irvine, California office. Matters handled by this dynamic group include the analysis of various types of claims as well as high-stakes litigation. This is a hybrid position in our Irvine office
.

Essential job duties include:

• Overseeing complex insurance coverage litigation and managing multiple cases from onset to resolution in state and federal courts.
• Conducting thorough analysis of insurance policies and coverage provisions to determine coverage and liability.
• Providing strategic legal advice to clients on insurance coverage issues, policy interpretation, and case status reports.
• Preparing and drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and supporting briefs for court hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Collaborating with colleagues and clients to develop case strategy and ensure timely communication.

• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Be skilled in legal research and analysis.
• Have superb administrative skills.
• Possess the ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• Be diligent, driven, and eager to learn.
• Possess the ability to take ownership of their work.

• Active bar license in California
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
• At least 5 years of Insurance coverage and/or Litigation experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional writing, organizational, and advocacy skills
