Litigation Associate

We are seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 4 to 8 years of experience to join our Public Entity and Tort Litigation defense practice groups. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage a robust caseload while maintaining excellence in written work, client communication, and courtroom preparation.

• Draft and respond to written discovery (interrogatories, requests for production, and admissions).
• Conduct medical/employment record reviews to identify key case facts.
• Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Support trial preparation
  , including drafting motions, preparing exhibits, and coordinating witnesses.
• Manage expert witnesses
  —selection, preparation, and testimony coordination.
• Provide clear, timely client updates and case status reports.
• Leverage cloud-based platforms and AI tools to improve efficiency and outcomes.

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active admission to the California State Bar (required).
• Minimum 4 years of commercial or civil litigation experience

• Strong knowledge of litigation processes and procedural rules.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills

• Familiarity with cloud-based litigation platforms and billing protocols.
• Strong communication skills

• Salary Range: $180,000 – $230,000
• Quarterly billable hour bonuses & discretionary performance bonuses.
