A California-based law firm is seeking a fully remote Employment Defense Attorney with 3+ years of employer-side experience who can manage cases independently while collaborating with a remote team.
Key Responsibilities:- Defend employers in a wide range of employment law matters, including:
- Wrongful termination
- Discrimination and harassment claims
- Wage & hour disputes
- FEHA and related state law claims
- Active member in good standing with the California State Bar
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in employment defense litigation
- Strong knowledge of California employment laws (FEHA, wage & hour, retaliation, harassment, etc.)
- Experience handling discovery, depositions, and law and motion
- Ability to manage cases independently in a fully remote setting
The annual salary for this position is between $160,000 – $350,000 annually
. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
