Associate Attorney; California

One of our clients is looking for an experienced Complex Litigation Associate Attorney to join its growing practice. The ideal candidate will have a background in general liability, personal injury, transportation, or catastrophic injury defense. This position provides substantial hands‑on litigation work, the chance to engage with high-profile national clients, and the ability to take on meaningful responsibility from the start.

• Oversees a varied litigation docket from initial stages through final resolution.
• Works collaboratively with partners and team members in a cohesive, supportive environment.
• Manages all components of litigation, including trial preparation, factual investigations, court appearances, mediations, and depositions.
• Delivers timely updates and strategic insights to clients through consistent communication and reporting.

• J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice in California.
• Three to eight years of defense‑side litigation experience, ideally within Personal Injury, General Liability, Catastrophic Injury, or Transportation matters.
• Strong communication, writing, and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven skill in fostering strong client relationships and providing high-quality service.
• Prior experience handling complex matters and engaging directly with clients is highly valued.
• Able to thrive in a fast‑moving, collaborative work setting.
• Knowledge of legal project management is a plus.
