The OpportunityThis role offers meaningful responsibility and hands-on litigation experience in wage and hour class action matters. Attorneys are expected to manage an active docket while continuing to develop their skills through mentorship and direct involvement in all phases of litigation. The position is well-suited for attorneys who want substantive responsibility, courtroom exposure, and long-term growth, regardless of whether their background is plaintiff-side, defense-side, or mixed.
Responsibilities- Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and other litigation-related documents
- Develop and execute litigation strategies in wage and hour matters in state and federal courts
- Participate in depositions, motion hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences
- Conduct legal research and produce persuasive written and oral advocacy
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and execution
- Active membership and good standing with the California State Bar
- Strong analytical, legal research, and writing skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced litigation environment
- Clear, persuasive verbal and written communication skills
- Sound judgment in complex or high-pressure situations
- Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable
- Competitive compensation based on experience: $180,000–$300,000+
