Senior Trial Attorney Insurance Defense

We are seeking a seasoned litigation attorney with substantial trial experience to join our expanding team in Los Angeles. This position is ideal for a confident trial lawyer who can independently manage complex insurance defense matters from intake through verdict while enjoying a flexible, modern work environment. We are looking for a self-starter who takes ownership of cases, communicates confidently with clients, and enjoys stepping into the courtroom.

• Manage insurance defense cases from investigation through trial and appeal
• Develop case strategy, conduct discovery, take and defend depositions, and argue motions
• First-chair or second-chair jury trials and arbitrations in Los Angeles–area courts
• Evaluate liability and damages, prepare client reports, and advise on settlement strategy
• Work directly with clients, adjusters, experts, and opposing counsel
• Maintain ownership of your caseload with minimal supervision

• Active California license in good standing
• 8+ years of litigation experience with meaningful jury trial experience as first or second chair
• Background in insurance defense (auto, premises, general liability, construction defect, professional liability, or similar)
• Ability to independently manage cases and meet deadlines
• Excellent writing, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills
• Familiarity with Los Angeles Superior Court practice is strongly preferred

  Flexible Hybrid Schedule, a remote schedule with the ability to travel to the LA or Santa Monica office as needed may be considered

The salary range for this role is $,000 and represents the Firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and location.
